Hubby goes in for surgery in the morning on his eye.
I think I am more nervous than he is.
Anything dealing with surgery and your face is scary, especially when dealing with your eyes.
The surgeon didn't make me feel any better about it by giving me the 'risks' like going blind. Thanks Doc, that helped make it better worse. Plus he said that he was only a general surgeon and that he had never done something around the eyes before.
Is that supposed to make me feel more confident!?
I asked if he thought maybe we should get another surgeon? Of course, that was in the middle of my almost hyperventilating/wanting to cry/almost panic attack moment. He said 'no, I'll give it a shot'.
I didn't think I was going to be able to stand up again when he said that.
After he told me the risks and then said 'I'll give it a shot'...I was a little frightened. I am a little frightened.
He better be glad he came recommended.
